Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead the development and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning models. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, data science, and software engineering principles. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable AI solutions that address real-world problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models and AI algorithms tailored to business needs.
- Data Pipeline Management: Design and optimize data pipelines to ensure the efficient collection, processing, and storage of large datasets.
- Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and apply innovative approaches to enhance model performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to integrate AI/ML models into production systems.
- Model Evaluation: Develop and implement evaluation metrics to monitor and validate model accuracy, performance, and reliability.
- Scalability: Ensure that AI/ML solutions are scalable and can handle increasing amounts of data and processing power.
- Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for models, processes, and systems to facilitate collaboration and future development.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Ph.D. is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, including experience with deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and other machine learning frameworks. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable.
- Mathematical Foundation: Strong understanding of statistical methods, linear algebra, calculus, and probability theory as they apply to machine learning.
- Data Engineering: Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data engineering best practices.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to solve complex problems and optimize models for performance and scalability.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and lead projects with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Experience in fintech, banking or private equity is a plus.
