Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Architect with a specialization in Power BI to join our innovative team. The chosen candidate will lead the conceptualization, design, and deployment of Power BI solutions tailored to meet our clients’ unique business requirements. A deep understanding of data visualization, dashboard creation, and data modeling within Power BI is essential for this role, along with a robust grasp of data analysis and business intelligence principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Brownloop project leaders and clients to effectively grasp business objectives and requirements.
- Spearhead the design and creation of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that convey critical insights and bolster data-informed decision-making.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis and modeling to uphold data accuracy, completeness, and integrity within Power BI solutions.
- Fine-tune Power BI solutions for enhanced performance, scalability, and user-friendliness, ensuring an exceptional client experience.
- Help build Brownloop’s data practice. Offer expert technical guidance to team members, acting as a mentor and authority on Power BI.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver top-notch Power BI solutions within set timelines and budgets.
- Maintain open communication with clients to understand their requirements, provide project updates, and address any concerns throughout the project’s lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Overall 10+ years of experience in data and analytics with a minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or similar roles, with a focus on Power BI development and deployment.
- Proficiency in Power BI, encompassing Power Query, DAX, data modeling, and report/dashboard creation.
- Hands-on experience with large and intricate datasets, data analysis, and crafting data visualizations to extract meaningful insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
- Demonstrable history of successfully executing Power BI projects from inception to completion, meeting or surpassing client expectations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating with clients and internal teams.
- Certifications in Power BI or related Microsoft technologies (e.g., MCSA: BI Reporting, MCSE: Data Management and Analytics) are considered a plus.
