Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to play a critical role in our project teams. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, develop business cases, and support the implementation of effective solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    Senior Business Analyst responsibilities generally include the following:

    • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for new projects and system enhancements.
    • Analysis: Analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions that align with company goals and strategies.
    • Documentation: Create detailed business requirements documents, process flows, use cases, and other related documentation to support project development and execution.
    • Solution Design: Work with IT and development teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs while ensuring alignment with technical capabilities and constraints.
    • Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and function as intended.
    • Communication: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Project Support: Assist in project management activities, including timeline development, resource allocation, and risk management.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance processes and solutions.
    Qualifications

    Senior Business Analyst qualifications include the following:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
    • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within financial sector or private equity
    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with business analysis tools, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely to various audiences.
    • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage relationships with stakeholders.
    • Certifications: Business analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
    Preferred Qualifications

    Data Architect – Power BI preferred qualifications include the following:

    • Industry Knowledge: Experience in finance, banking or private equity is beneficial.
    • Additional Skills: Knowledge of data analysis, SQL, or experience with specific business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Visio) is an advantage.
